dagen i sig har varit rätt så tråkig.
jag drog dock ner på vega idag och köpte skivor, dom har stor cd-rea. 50%!!!!
köpte 4 skivor, betalade 208 kr! :D
på bussen hem så läste jag i en folder som kom med ena DKM (dropkick murphys) skivan.
då läste jag en sån himla fin sak så jag höll på att börja grina!!

"we had already finished this song that was based on general corresponcences to & from the soldiers serving in Iraq, when we were contacted by the family of Sgt. Andrew Farrar who has recently died while serving there.
The family wanted to tell us he was a big supporter of the DKM. They also passed on a letter that he had written to his mother shortly before his death in which he thanks her for sending him a DKM cd & said that if anything should happen to him while in Iraq, he would like one of our songs played at this funeral. He also left behind a wife, Melissa and two young boys Tyler & Liam. His tour of duty in Iraq, was coming to an end & he was due to come home & renew his wedding vows with Melissa to another song of ours (forever). Sgt. Farrar died on January 28th, on his 31st birthday. We were present at his funeral to grant his wish and played "fields of atherny" as his casket entered the church. This song was re-written to include excerpts from that letter."

sv: Jo man ska vänta 6 månader innan man börjar lämna blod, men idag så gjorde jag bara testet, så dom skulle se hur alla värden såg ut och att jag inte har HIV ;) Så det blir först i höst jag får lämna blod för första gången :) Känns fan bra i hjärtat att göra något för mänskligheten, det behövs ju alltid hjälp :)
